Join us for a roundtable featuring a multi-disciplinary panel of scholars who will discuss vaccine apartheid, socioeconomic and racial health disparities, and how the whitewashing of vaccine history helps us understand the politics of the present.
Dr. Merlin Chowkwanyun is is the Donald H. Gemson Assistant Professor of Sociomedical Sciences and a core faculty member of the Center for History and Ethics of Public Health at Columbia University. Dr. Jayati Ghosh, a longtime faculty member at Jawaharlal Nehru University, is Professor of Economics at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Farren Yero, a historian of science and medicine in Latin America and the Caribbean, is Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University.
