We are delighted to present a lunchtime conversation with Dr. Nitasha Kaul who will discuss her recent article on the comparisons between the Indian state and its policies towards Kashmir and the People’s Republic of China’s policies towards the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Dr. Nitasha Kaul is Associate Professor of Politics and International Relations at the Centre for the Study of Democracy, University of Westminster (UK). She is a multidisciplinary academic, novelist, poet, and economist who has researched and published extensively on themes relating to democracy, political economy, identity, rise of right-wing nationalism, feminist and postcolonial critiques, Bhutan, India, and Kashmir.
