Falvey Fridays—Tabula: Extracting Tables from PDFs

Join Erica Hayes, Digital Scholarship Librarian, on Friday, Mar.26, from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. for a workshop entitled “Tabula: : Extracting Tables from PDFs.” If you’ve ever tried to do anything with data provided to you in PDFs, you know there's no easy way to copy-and-paste rows of data from tables out of PDF files. Come learn more about Tabula, an open source tool for extracting data tables locked inside PDFs and how to import that data easily into a CSV or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This event, sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library, is free and open to the Villanova community.
